WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
Important Information regarding the Working With Children Legislation:
We advise that all parents apply for a volunteer Working with Children Check and name Albert Park Primary as the volunteer organisation. There is no cost associated with this.
Parents can not be engaged in any child related activities at the school in any capacity (even under the supervision of a teacher) without a valid Working with Children Check.
We advise all parents who do not already have a valid WWCC card, to apply for one in the event they may wish to participate in child related activities. This includes classroom helping, attending Sports Day at Albert Park Primary and assisting/attending excursions/gala days and special events at school.
If you have a WWCC but are unsure if we have a copy, please check with the office as we have a register of WWCCs.
