English

English is a continuing priority in the school's Annual Implementation Plan and a challenging, exciting and rewarding program is in action/progress across all areas of the school's English program.

We recognise that the ability to read, write, speak and think independently will assist our students in other areas of the curriculum and prepare them to participate effectively in Australia and abroad in the future.

At Albert Park Primary School a dedicated literacy block in the first two hours of schooling for students in Prep - Grade Two enables them to establish firm foundation skills in reading, writing and speaking and listening.
