Albert Park Primary School has fully implemented the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) curriculum. Information on each area of the curriculum at Albert Park is available in these sections.

Four of the six levels within VELS correspond to primary school grades:
  • Level 1 - Prep
  • Level 2 - Grades 1 - 2
  • Level 3 - Grades 3 - 4
  • Level 4 - Grades 5 - 6
  • Level 5 - Grades 7 - 8
  • Level 6 - Grades 9 - 10
