Enrolments are taken the year before the child is due to start school. The child must have turned 5 years by 30th April in the year they start school.

There are no further tours schedule for 2009. Appointments can be made to meet with the Principal and take a short tour by contacting the school office on 9699 9090.

Albert Park Primary School Catchment Zone

There is a requirement that families reside in the catchment area of the school and all applicants must provide the school with proof of residential address before an application may proceed.

The current boundary, as set out by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, is Pickles Street-City Road, Ferrars Street, Kerferd Road and Beaconsfield Parade. If your residential address is outside this area we are obliged to direct you to contact either Middle Park Primary School or Port Melbourne Primary School. Even if you reside within this boundary, this does not guarantee you a place for next year, as the boundary is re-assessed by the Department each year (and sometimes during the year), according to the level of enrolments and applications to each of the schools in the area. Unfortunately this is not something over which we have control.

Applicants for enrolments must provide the school with proof of residential address before the enrolment can proceed

At least two pieces of evidence from the following list must be provided in original form. 

• Drivers Licence
• Council rate notice or listing from council's rates database
• Bank statement - must be less than 8 weeks old
• Residential lease or bond lodgement receipt - must be less than 8 weeks old
• Utility bill - gas, water,electricity, phone - must be less than 8 weeks old

Applicants may also be called on to sign a statutory declaration as proof of residential address.
