This year the Grade 2 teachers are Jo Copolov and Melanie McLennan in Room 3, Karly Kallinikos in Room 7 and Bridey Lokhorst-Blight in Room 6.

Term 4 2009

THEME:  The students have settled into term 4 and are enjoying our theme 'Active Productive Positive Students'.  The students are learning about their bodies, healthy life styles and self esteem.

LITERACY ONLINE INTERVIEW:  They are currently involved in the new 'Literacy Online Interview' which will replace the previous reading tests they were involved in.  The information gathered from this interview will assis teachers in their preparation of future lessons and needs.

SWIMMING PROGRAM:  The swimming program is well underway and the students are gaining further confidence.  It is good to see so many parents coming along to lend a hand. Follow this link to some great photos! SWIMMING 2009

LEVEL 2 LATE STAY:  Our end of year 'Late Stay' will be on Thursday 19th November and we will be asking for a few parent helpers for the barbeque.  The highlight of the Late Stay will be a visit by local author Leigh Hobbs.  The students will have the opportunity to meet him and have their personal copies of his books signed.
