11 members of staff are participating in this year's Eureka Climb Challenge. On Sunday November 22nd, our 3 teams will climb 1958 stairs from the bottom of Eureka Tower to the 88th floor. Staff are currently training each week to improve their stair climbing skills and improve their fitness in order to tackle this challenge.
We seek everyone's support with raising money for two fabulous causes - INTERPLAST and Whitelion. Interplast Australia & New Zealand sends teams of volunteer Plastic & Reconstructive surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses to developing countries in the Asia Pacific Region to provide free treatment and medical training. Whitelion supports young people to build better lives for themselves and helps make our community a more inclusive and safer place.
Our 3 teams are:
Go Green!: Chris, Shelley, Elise and Bridey
GAIM On: Gill, Anna, Imogen and Mitty
Albert Park Primary School: Nick, Tessa, Cassie and Nicola (Nick's partner)
Thanks for your support. What a great way to emphasis our Active Productive Positive Student theme.

2009 Bush Dance – a boot-scootin’ success
The APPS bushdance on Friday 4 September held at St Kilda Town Hall was a tremendous success with more than 400 parents and kids attending (a record number of tickets sold!), brilliant outfits, 120 pizzas delivered and over $600 worth of icy poles and drinks sold. The gross total raised for the night was over $5000.00, a tribute to both the social and fundraising spirit of our school.
Have a look at our Science page to see some photos and find out what the children learnt during science week.
