Albert Park Primary School

Albert Park Primary School is a Government School for Prep to Year 6 students. We are located in the heart of the village in the inner bayside suburb of Albert Park.

We see our classrooms as learning communities where children are given opportunities to co-operate and to negotiate and where wellbeing is promoted. We offer a broad curriculum from Prep to Grade 6 with diverse learning experiences in the arts, the sciences and physical and sport education. We strive to create a friendly and safe environment for our students and welcome and encourage the support of both our local community and our parents.

In 2009 we will increase our use of information and communication technology to further motivate and engage our children in meaningful learning. Our teachers will continue to guide and facilitate active learning as we use our data on pupil achievement in English and Mathematics to design learning experiences that will fulfil the potential of all of our students.
